Volunteer opportunities for Asian women?

Hello, I recently convinced my mother that has to start and return for more aid the community. I try to find a suitable organization to work to help expand your life. She lives in Taiwan and Greater Seattle. She emigrated to the United States when she was 22 years when she speaks perfect Mandarin, Taiwanese and English medium. It is also very smart (PhD, math type of person / sciency). Are there organizations found in this neighborhood to help Asian Americans adjust to life in the U.S.? If not, does anyone have ideas of organizations that could use their language skills or math? You may not be interested in the work of arts organizations, the environment or animals as a thought in general. Sorry I know a very strange message, but all ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Try to get everything right, a website that compiles volunteer opportunities from from various sources, including VolunteerMatch and idealistic. Also call the Red Cross, Scouts and local schools to see what volunteer opportunities are – everything could use their language skills and mathematics.
