Best Internet Service Providers and the best cellular providers?
I need to get internet connected to my apartment and have two or three questions. I'd like to get wireless for my computer, and can connect to wireless networks. What do I need to configure a wireless network? Does anyone know if this is more expensive than other options? Besides, who are the best and least expensive for suppliers of wireless technology? I'm in the Seattle area, if that helps at all.
I bought a wireless laptop in May 2003 and for two days and a half years I have been using T-Mobile Hot Spots in Seattle: Starbucks, Borders, (Kinko's Southcenter) six months, I thought I could do wireless in my apartment in Burien. I called the arm of Comcast's network and came and installed a box that combines a modem / router (Linksys). I only had problems with wireless connection – so I took the white cable that comes with, and my laptop connected to the modem / router and have had no problems since. I myself could do without the obligation to obtain the router – Comcast, but no warning about the risks, although there are many customers Comcast, which had the same experience.
