How long does it take to Sacramento, California to Seattle Washington?

How long does it take to Sacramento, California to Seattle Washington? (Driving) (I-5) and what is the weather and road conditions and in between late December and early January.

Estimate is that it is about 700 miles (more or less). You will travel in winter, and there are mountains of northern Cal, and Oregon, but will be one of the busiest interstates on the west coast, and authorities are making great efforts to keep the road open. Both Oregon and California has 24 / 7 free information line toll hot highway. Number of California is 1-800-427-6723. I do not remember the number of Oregon.
