If you use a sourdough starter, you are probably the remains of many when upgrading. It is possible that the removal of the boot remains sanitation, but there is no reason to discard. The holder of leftover sourdough can be used in many recipes, it offers a bitter taste with many households cook delicious food.

Here are some great ways you use your sourdough holder remains:

  1. Sourdough pancakes. Mix one cup of starter with one or two tablespoons of vegetable oil. Add the beaten egg and a teaspoon of maple syrup, and stir well. Add one cup flour, plus a coffee spoon of baking soda and a pinch of salt. Mix well again. The mixture should begin to foam up. Let stand while heating a pan or grill. Fry in a lightly oiled skillet until browned on one side, turn and cook until browned on the other side.
  2. Sourdough Onion Rings. Cut two large onions into rings. Put the vegetable oil in a saucepan or deep skillet and heat until it reaches 375 degrees. Take the onion slices and separate into rings and the mixture in a bowl with a cup of flour until well coated. In a separate bowl, mix two cups of starter with a glass of soda water and a pinch of salt. One by one, taking a ring of onion, salsa on sourdough starter bowl and cover well, and then put in hot oil. Brown.
  3. Sourdough waffles. Use the recipe for sourdough pancakes, but instead cooked the mixture in a waffle iron until golden. Serve with fresh strawberries and whipped cream, if desired.
