Visiting Washington, United States, but then I'm going to Canada too?

Hi I booked a trip to Seattle, Washington in 4 weeks I wondering if anyone knew for sure if he could spend a few days in Canada without any problems. (I am a British citizen with nothing against my name). We decided take a bus or train to Vancouver, Canada. Any useful help with a possible source would be greatly appreciated.
