seattle train center
What are the fun things to do in the navigation of Seattle?

Some people and took the train to Seattle for the day. We have enough to spend money for a small number of centers and museums / etc So what will keep you busy all day? Everyone is on the way (without children). In addition, taxis are very expensive in Seattle, the EMP was a few years ago. I loved everything about it, but I'm not planning to move soon. The Museum of Science Fiction sounds very cool though. =] The march and the monorail is probably our best bet. I do not know my way and do not want to miss the train back in Bellingham.

Seattle is an easy city to travel the route network in the middle of the street is fairly simple. This does not mean any street, Madison, for example, are very steep, are directed toward up. While you stay in the center, the buses are free during the day. A taxi from the downtown not too expensive, but the plan of at least $ 5 if they are many. As for things to do, there are a variety of things in and around the downtown including the Seattle Center. Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square (located very near the station), and the main shopping area are the main attractions. You can see construction of the Clean City Library – Take the stairs to the top of some views interesting. Not far from downtown but up, is the Frye Art Museum (free admission, often with performances of interest) and the Roman Catholic cathedral (and several large hospitals, if the escalation of Hill gives him a heart attack). A little later, probably too far to walk, is the Broadway district of eclectic Capitol. Northwest of downtown, a fairly short bus ride to Ballard gives access to the Ballard locks and a neighborhood with interesting shops. At the edge of the area in blocks map, Seattle is my favorite shop Archie McPhee. http://www.archiemcpheeseattle.com A short bus ride to Ballard from Fremont. Before the big companies have made there his home was interesting, but Fremont has a statue of Lenin and the Troll under the Aurora Bridge and the more open drawbridge in the United States and some good shops and restaurants. The bus (buying a fixed day) to a circuit including both Ballard and Fremont easy. For more information http://transit.metrokc.gov bus
