Is it socially unacceptable to drive a jeep in the northern cities and the western Pacific?

I ask this question because of the things I heard the culture of Seattle and Portland. I've never been anywhere, but switch to one of these cities a few months. I've even heard that some environmentalists in the paint spray of the Pacific Northwest SUV to make a statement. My wife drives a Toyota RAV4 and drive a Honda CR-V, which receives both the gas mileage as well that an average midsize car, so it's not as if the drive Hummer or Suburban. But technically * * SUV. We'd like maintaining the vehicles we have, but do not know if our new neighbors, colleagues, friends, etc, frowning at him! Thank you! Cluster bombs tofu? It sounds rich.

Come on. You will have many companies, and as it does not disturb the fuel bill (not very different here than elsewhere in the U.S.) will be fine.
