Legal commitments in a car dealership?

I bought a used 2005 Toyota Scion XB, 4-door GM dealer network around 8 / 06. I recently shot by an officer of the province because of color driver's side, and before the passenger side windows, which are significantly lighter than glass for privacy windows rest of the car. I discovered that the presence of tinted glass front doors and the windshield is illegal in the State of Illinois. My windshield was replaced, so I know it has no color, yet the windows. The car was originally sold from a Toyota Dealship Seattle, WA, and sold here in Illinois. I bought the car, which still had the warranty from the manufacturer, as is, no change in the exterior or windows. My question is: Is the dealer I bought my car, legally sell something that is legal to drive in the state of being sold?
