You can certainly save some money by staying at places like Beach Place Hotel, Howard Johnson and the Sixty Six Resort. If your goal is focused on saving money, not the overall experience, I would recommend the Sixty Six Resort, located two blocks from the beach, and three miles from the high-end shops of Bal Harbor and the Lincoln Road pedestrian mall. It has a nice fitness center and this is located in a fairly quiet part of the beach. I personally would not stay at the
Now, if you are looking for overall experience, I would go with the Sea View Bal Harbour Hotel located on Collins. It is a beautiful hotel, art deco, 1920s style, and very quiet and romantic. The hotel stands in a quiet neighborhood of condo towers one block from Bal Harbour Shops, and about seven miles of the convention center, the Jackie Gleason Theater and South Beach. Miami International Airport is about 18-20 miles away. The lobby is gorgeous! It has green marble flooring, trimmed in dark wood and has a very exquisite crystal chandelier. The hotel offers business services, wireless Internet access and meeting space. And you absolutely need to check out the heated pool! After a long day of shopping, my girlfriend and I enjoyed a relaxing massage at the solarium.
Now, if you are staying in Miami Beach, Live it up! There are so many cool things to do there but ones of notes are Haulover Beach Park, Lincoln Road and Espanola Way. Haulover Beach Park is nestled between the Intercoastal Waterway and Atlantic Ocean, this scenic park boasts white sandy beaches, open ocean surf and sweeping dunes. Lincoln Road is a shopping paradise and if you go there In the center of the strip is the best pizza in Miami. Espanola Way is rich in history and has hosted some colorful characters throughout the years, including Al Capone and the crew from Miami Vice.
I hope this helps you in your quest to locate a good hotel in Miami Beach, it is a beautiful place.
