Trams will become the dominant form of transportation ….?
In cities that have or are building them: * Portland, Oregon * Tacoma, Washington * Little Rock, Arkansas * Memphis, Tennessee * Kenosha, Wisconsin * Tampa, Fla. * San Francisco, California * New Orleans, Louisiana Construction Today: * Seattle, Washington, opens in September 2007 * Washington, DC, opens the spring of 2008 currently in the design: * Miami, Florida * Charlotte, NC North A present in the planning: * Baltimore, Maryland * Columbus, Ohio * Glendale, CA * Sacramento, California * Tucson, Arizona * Omaha, Neb. * FT. Lauderdale, Florida * Austin, TX * Cincinnati, Ohio * Madison, Wisconsin * Winston-Salem, North Carolina * Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
According to I saw trams as a valid public transport system is inadequate. The streetcar system in Tampa is new in Nice and the moderate, especially in Ybor City nightlife during peak hours. However, very little of the capacity and number of destinations to be a viable option for many travelers. I guess the same is true in most modernes. cities-Adrian Wyllie, editor TampaBayStart.com
