How is it that California and Oregon 9% + income tax and Washington has no income tax?

I live in San Francisco, California to pay (in my opinion) outrageous 9.3% rate of tax. Looking around I realize that Oregon has a 9% rate, while Nevada and Washington have income. I know Oregon has no sales tax, if this sort of thing, "he explains. But Can someone explain why California bases seems to be much more expensive than Nevada and Washington? Is it possible that a resident of California I can take something to avoid paying what appears to be thousands of dollars more than you would if I moved to Seattle? Otherwise, it is a tax paid in Washington that I am not included? Finally, is it fair that California government is stupid and ineffective, or are related to the taxes that the Washington State receives?

Most of the difference has to do with California Proposition 13, indeed. Although anyone who buys a home pays taxes the current value of the property, someone who has lived in the same house for years was locked in a much smaller proportion. For example, you know someone who bought the house in 1976 for $ 42,000. Property taxes are less than $ 250 per year. My property is in Oregon in the tax records of $ 85,000 and I have to pay $ 1,300 per year. In Cali, my taxes are increased annually at a minimum, but this is not the case Washingotn. That said, yes, you can save money of taxpayers in Washington or Oregon to Cali. But you do not have time employment oppertunities, entertainment or sports that generate a lot of people. For me, none of the reasons I mentioned enough for me to want to stay in California or Washington. I much prefer the pace of life, the less, and reduce the cost of living in the south coast Oregon. No, not the high salary I could do in one or another state, but I do what I need to live where I live.
