Contrary to popular belief, the traffic ticket and speeding ticket attorneys are not always in use procedural loopholes and clever tricks as an official summons and I hope it does not show. Sometimes it is actually the practice of law, question witnesses effectively, highlighting the flaws in the case of the city, and win for a traffic offense has not occurred. And sometimes it's more technical than that. Let me give an example to demonstrate what I mean.

This example comes from real life in the city of Seattle (my city, where the movement lawyer, by the way). There is actually a very sad story, but proves to have a lawyer traffic on the good side can do for you. Here are the facts.

There was a guy driving a van in Seattle in September 2006. It was morning and probably on his way to work, on his way to a worksite in a race or something more innocuous. Was driving the speed limit. I never had an offense traffic. I was sober. It was not drugs. And his life was changed forever.

Traveling south on a two way road (no traffic coming northbound) and at some point during your trip, I had to turn left. As each of us, waited at the intersection for traffic coming in opposite direction to clear, and began aa turn. However, this particular day at that specific intersection, a motorcyclist who was traveling south. And the driver the truck did not see.

I do not think the accident was serious, but the pilot did not fall off his bike. And tragically, as it was a helmet, was injured head ultimately resulting in his death. After the accident, the driver that came with your fault for not yielding, he and his insurance company settled with the family of the cyclist, and tried to spend his life.

While the truck driver tried to move one of this horrible event, as is usual in these cases, law enforcement King County to review the case to determine if there was no need to file criminal charges. Ultimately there is only one possibility for a criminal charge under the facts – manslaughter. The requirements for vehicle homicide, however, does not fit in this situation. One of three things are needed: (1) driving while intoxicated, (2) driving a vehicle recklessly, or (3) operating a vehicle with reckless disregard for the safety of others. In this case, none of these products. Since King County has refused to press charges.

The city of Seattle, however, was not willing to give up so easily. It has recently approved an ordinance on the criminalization of drug trafficking in the event of injury or death because of the great violation. In this case, the City decided that the truck driver had committed the crime of aggression on the bike, and followed him. The problem with this point of view of a lawyer for traffic driver of the van in Seattle, was the Washington State Legislature more explicit violations of non-criminal traffic infraction, punishable with a fine. And I do not know, not to sell was one of those crimes.

Therefore, the lawyer for Seattle Traffic moved the court to dismiss charges based on the invalidity of the Act. And the court rejected the motion. After a bench trial that the truck driver was convicted of assault under the law, which have appealed this decision before the Superior Court of King County. In that court, the statute has been seen for what it was a circumvention of the law as established by the Washington State legislature, and ruled the law invalid. So the moral of this story? A lawyer who knows the movements which can be very useful, not always for the travel and procedural difficulties they know, but the good lawyers because they are too devoted to a practice area where absent.
