Mike Holmgren has spent his life teaching, now as coach of the Seattle Seahawks.

Holmgren started training and education in their school alma mater in San Francisco. Now, after 36 years as a coach in high school, college and professionals, who begins his final season with the Seattle Seahawks, looking a second victory in the Super Bowl with another team after winning the Super Bowl XXXI (31) when his Green Bay Packers defeated the New England Patriots, 35-21.

For Holmgren, already recognized as one of the best coaches in the History of National Football League, this would be the icing on the cake, as no coach has won the Super Bowl with 2 different computers.

Holmgren is one of a select group of only 5 cars that took 2 teams to the Super Bowl and won not once but twice. The others are Bill Parcells, Dan Reeves, Don Shula and Dick Vermeil. Packages and Shula are legends in their own right.

It was a Tower of Mike Holmgren. His influence in the NFL is simply amazing. It will be in the Hall of Fame NFL sometime in the future, the only question is the first frame of 2 different teams to Super Bowl victories and World Championships?

This triumph, in his last year as coach of the Seahawks, is far from losing 22 games in a row as coach from high school in San Francisco, a streak that has nearly led them to abandon training. Fortunately, he continued, not knowing success finally achieved.

Affected one after another, when his West Coast Offense hits its stride, his legacy will be as follows:

Shaping the future Hall of Fame quarterbacks Joe Montana, Steve Young and Brett Favre (pronounced Farve) during his tenure as quarterbacks coach with the San Francisco 49ers and head coach of Green Bay Packers.

In 6 years in San Francisco as quarterbacks coach, then offensive coordinator, the 49ers are 71-23-1 (75%) of the regular season and hit play 5 rounds of 6 years, won the Super Bowl XXIII (23) on the Cincinnati Bengals and Super Bowl XXIV (24) Denver Broncos. His crime was No. 1 in the NFL in 1989.

In 7 years as head coach of Green Bay Packers 75-37 (67%) During the regular season, 9-5 (64%) in the playoff series, had 2 Super Bowl appearances and won the Super Bowl XXXI (31) New England Patriots. By winning at least 1 set of 5 consecutive postseason, Holmgren joined John Madden, as the only ones who never do.

In its heyday, led Green Bay from 1995 to 1998 of the NFL best 48-16 (75%) screen, finished in 1 st National Conference Central Division 3 times, and had a 7-3 in the playoffs. He led the Packers to consecutive postseason 6, establishing a franchise record with a team that has only 2 winning seasons in 19 years before his arrival.

In 9 years as head coach led the Seattle Seahawks to play in the playoffs in his first year, breaking a drought playoff 10 years. Since then he has won a title in the Division of the AFC West, NFC wild card platform, has won 4 consecutive division championships NFC West (2004 to 2007), an NFC championship and the Seahawks to their first Super Bowl appearance in 2005.

In the 2005 Stellar Seattle, the Seahawks Holmgren's were 13-3 (81%) of the regular season (a franchise record), won a record 11 consecutive victories and the team have won their first round match the playoffs since 1984. Is molded into a bowl and pro Matt Hasselbeck fourth Super Bowl, and coach Shaun Alexander to award most of the NFL MVP and NFL record 28 touchdowns in a season.

Holmgren is only 3 to coach in NFL history in his team to the Series 7 live appearances (6 in Green Bay, then 1 in Seattle) to join two legends of all time, Tom Landry and Chuck Noll.

In summary, in 21 seasons in the NFL, Mike Holmgren has a record of 218-116-1 (65%), has 12 stations double-digit winner with 16 homers in the playoffs, has won 3 Super Bowls and has participated in 2 games in the Super Bowl.

After 2005 Team Seattle the Super Bowl are two pillars-MVP Shaun Alexander and Pro Bowl guard Steve Hutchinson. Among the newcomers receivers Deion Branch and Nate Burleson, the defensive backs Deon Grant and Brian Russell, defensive end Patrick Kerney and running backs Julius Jones and TJ Duckett.

Seattle has a team drummer. Few players have Pro Bowl quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, tackle Walter Jones, defensive end Patrick Kerney, linebackers Lofa Tatupu and Julian Peterson and cornerback Marcus Trufant and some veterans.

Seattle not taken into the pre-season polls to win the Super Bowl, and posed the question: Is this a team that grain delivered another Super Bowl victory of Mike Holmgren and help to make history as the best NFL coach ever?
