I'm going to Beijing this afternoon. "I can see British or American news here? As BBC.co.uk or NBC.com?
I'm so excited. I to Beijing this afternoon to watch the games. I'm a little sad that I missed the opening ceremony, but I came to watch sports. I go to boarding school in London, England. So my parents, who live in Ontario, Canada, and my sister (17) goes to boarding Los Angeles … Well, we all gathered in Seattle for our flight to Beijing. I'm so excited – Allow about 10 to 15 minuets (I'm at the airport now) My question is if I am able to go to the BBC, ABC News, NBC News, or any major U.S. or networking sites in the UK News: are all blocked? Will I be cut off from the world while I am there, in terms of news? I understand that the government Chinese as severe restrictions on the use of Internet. Right?
I've been to China 11 times in the last three years. At the hotels I stayed in a complex we have a mix of U.S. international broadcasting, English, French, etc. All repeat Maude That's life at last. I never understood any timetable. News has been very limited. Most of the time, CNN, ABC, etc. have been blocked line.
