Anyone remember when FM radio was good?
Waaaayyy back … in the seventies. WNEW … ALLISON STEELE extracted .. link "Allison Steele was one of the DJs working in WNEW-FM in New York in the 1960s to early 1970s. Probably my favorite speaker of the day, with other advertisers at WNEW (Zacherly, Rosko, etc), a season of "progressive" radio of the day! (Significance at the time an issue of "heads" who played an album that they like!) "One1 # The http://www.angelfire.com/tv2/eccentric/alison.htm" classic rock station "here in Seattle, even play Inna Gadda life. T-REX I mean … Gong Bong. Jeepster Wheres? Give thanks to deregulate the radio industry for the state of the form (radio radio everything, not just FM) has become. Now a homeowner can have up to five stations radio in a given market, the meaning of "competition" is over. Radio stations have formats that are totally "safe" and no no no more revolutionary or innovative. That's why people are upset with the radio and use other sources such as iPods, satellite radio (for as you can), Internet streams. Allison Steele …. a legend!
