How can I use public transportation from Seattle to Portland? I need a cheap alternative to Greyhound and train?

I need to find a regular way from Seattle to Portland on a regular basis that does not really begin to accumulate. I tried to check the sites in vain carpool, and I looked at the discounts for students in Greyhound and train, but can not find a return ticket for less than $ 50. As I work for minimum wage and I want to do this trip every week or two, such cost is almost impossible. Ideally, I guess I need a number of public buses that can go, but I can t seem to find a site that has more information about a only public transport system.
