The Gold Rush of 1925, silent film comedy, is generally considered the best-known film of Charlie Chaplin. Over the history of cinema, both critics and audiences have always considered this movie to a True Hollywood Chaplin classic comedy silent film era.

It tells the story of Chaplin's character equally famous and beloved by a small tramp "(known as The Lone Prospector in this film) it travels to Alaska, hoping to participate in the Great Alaskan Gold Rush. However, as luck and bad weather have it, he sat alone in a cabin away with Backwoods another gold digger and a fugitive escaped from the company.

Finally, when the demise of the weather, 'The Lone prospector rejected gold back out near the arts community. While there, it takes work to stretch another prospector shack, and falls in love with Georgia, a child of living, that assumes, wrongly love.

Although known as a great comedy, this film is also rich with social satire, drama and emotional sensitivity.

The film features a number of famous scenes from nature including Chaplin prepare Thanksgiving dinner for himself and other network and search engine hunger by boiling and eating a shoe leather (provided by the American Society of licorice), and his shoelaces as were the noodles. In another, the occupants of houses are pushed out of the cab swaying dangerously on the edge of a cliff before falling into the valley below.

A stream of celebrities, considered by many as one of the most memorable in the career of Chaplin shows the Lone Prospector accommodate guests imaginary their New Year's Eve dinner in the drilling two rolls with forks and make them dance like a ballerina's legs really. This scene was recreated in 1994 an episode of 'The Simpsons' entitled' The Lady Bouvier lover.

The classic comedy is always appreciated by the public and now ranks as the fifth highest grossing film in silence, and the highest grossing silent film comedy of all time.

The film was released again in 1942 by Chaplin, with a strong narrative and a musical score was said by Chaplin and arranged. It has also enhanced editing to reduce the long operating time, has changed some elements of history minor deleted scene and the kiss at the end to delete a sub-plot where the character is pushed to believe that Georgia ones. This new version has been enormous worldwide success worldwide.

In 1992, The Gold Rush was selected by the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress. This film is a must for anyone interested in the classical Hollywood comedy of the silent era.
