I welcome all answers and try to post questions that are not demeaning or bias, even though I am anything BUT liberal. Yeesh!
@CA: I hear what you are saying. Problem is that criminals will ALWAYS have access to guns and ammo, whether legal or illegally.
L.T.W.: What constitutes an “armed militia”? Those sworn in and trained only or all law-abiding Americans? I tend to go with ALL law-abiding citizens, but good point about the armed militia.
The sad fact is that this proves that merely passing a law [ no felon may possess a gun ] has NO effect in the real world. The larger question is why this criminal’s prior sentence was commuted.
