seattle needle height
Can anyone help me with this math?

I do not understand how to do this and was wondering if someone could help me. You've done a model of the Space Needle in Seattle, Washington, a report on the architecture in the United States has used a scale of 1 to 50 feet. Their model is 12.1 inches tall. Estimate the actual height of the Space Needle. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Use a proportion. 1 / 50 = 12.1 / x Cross multiply. 1x = x 50×12.1 = 605 feet. This must be right.
