How can i get a longshoremens job?

I have been contacting unions from Seattle to Portland on how to get 0n hired as longshoremen does anyone have any helpful info.

The “ILA” (International Longshoreman’s Association) is a very close-knit brotherhood. It’s basically a “closed club” and very difficult to get in. You have to be related to an ILA worker or at least be very close to one to even consider getting in !!!
