Where is a good area (city), near Seattle to book a hotel or Bed and Breakfast?
My girlfriend and I are eager to go to Seattle for our honeymoon in June and looking for nice areas to search for hotels or guest houses. Not really want to stay in downtown, but I would somewhere within a reasonable distance. Any suggestions for nice, small, quiet, safe cities? Or any good suggestions on hotels, lodges and near B & B? Thanks
The "center" of the central business district of Seattle is actually very small. The city has expanded along the years linking many small towns and communities within the city. As will be much less urban residential areas that seem a little city within a city. If you plan to go somewhere in a "reasonable distance" of the city limits actually extend a long way past center unit in the center of town a car can not be your best option. The traffic is very busy and finding affordable parking near the popular attractions in general is difficult. In short, I recommend you look at the B & B in town, but far from "downtown" area, plus some in the suburbs of the city. To enter the city's best option may be transport – either a bus stop near your home or drive a Park N Ride lots (where parking is free) and take a bus or train in the distance. When you reach the downtown area for most attractions are within walking distance of each other or can be easily public transport public. Buses are free in the center of the city up to 19 hours so it is easy to get on and off a few blocks from your destination. Downtown Seattle and downtown is about a mile from each other and do not want to go that far you can take the monorail and back for $ 2 each way. I've included some links that I hope will help. I hope you have a great honeymoon in Seattle!
