
What a nice neighborhood of Seattle for the average family of a young Jewish observer?
Looking for a "course" of community (urban or semi-urban), access to day schools, suburban use, and a warm and vibrant Jewish community participation for a family with children small, an observer some of Shabbat and kosher. Looking to stay away from the communities where they have to drive everywhere, and the communities where social issues the materialism and accumulated wealth. Comments?
Their criteria is very difficult to match anywhere where in Seattle, especially since the Financial Times, cut school, and the journey of perpetual nightmare. However, you may wish to check the synagogues in West Seattle (Kol Haneshamah), north of Seattle (Temple Beth Am and Congregation Beth Shalom), on Capitol Hill (Temple de Hirsch Sinai) and Seward Park (Bikur Cholim Machzikay-Hadath).
