I am 13 and want to work, help?

I am a 13 year old daughter (will be 14 next month, if that makes a difference). I live in the region Seattle, and I really want a job. Now I know I'm probably not going to get a job I love, but if possible I want to do something about animals. Even as a receptionist at a hospital would be a great job veteranarian (something). My mother works at Microsoft, but my father is a teacher. Just cut her hours and now DONT make enough income because my sister asked for money On the one hand, and then doing another. I feel bad and feel I am a young adult, and I should do something to bring revenue so I can ask my parents for money. I just wanted to know where to find a job as a receptionist or something. I like talking to people (and do not want not work in a fast food restaurant … I am vegetarian). I just wanted to know if you have any suggestions as to where you may need to looking for work? Thank you!

No employer will hire a minor – to review its child labor laws of your state to see what age can legally be hired. Now you can do small jobs for babysitting and other neighbors. Most employers want you to be 16 or more.
