other than craigslist, what is the best way to hunt apartment in Seattle?

I'm looking for a big studio or a room in or near Fremont. What is the best way OTHER THAN Craigslist to find a good apartment?

Physically, the tower and search for locations. I found many places, especially some of the cheapest places that did not bother to put ads in newspapers and online because people in general always jumps to the scene quickly! Look around Fremont areas Ballard / to see if you see something in the neighborhood. People in knowledge is always useful, if someone lives in a decent (or decently affordable) construction, they can tell when the openings are underway. A lot of times, by the time you reach newspapers and Internet sites where there are many people have already seen, so if you are real fly, already gone!
