Is this a bad idea?

In the second year of high school I started more serious research institutions and universities. I live on the east coast (VA), and I've been looking at the University of Washington (UW) – Seattle. I will be 17 (almost 18) when I graduate and go to college. I do not want to spend throughout the country, then it is a great need. I consider myself very mature, very independent, etc. I love the feeling of UW. How is the weather in Seattle? Is this a horrible idea to move all the way to Washington, Virginia, when I'm only 17 for college? Please feel free to add anything! Thank you! And I'll get the best answer! (: Haha, I love to cook so I doubt I will miss him. I'm very excited to VA, I think Washington would be a great change of scenery. I a job, so I think it would be beneficial to save some money and just fly there and spend a week (first visit to the campus) to see how I like Seattle, etc

It's raining ….. many in Washington. We talked most of the year is good, or at least covered parts of the state. You can always make a visit to the University of Washington and see how it is. University of Washington has a kind tour that will give prospective students and their parents. Give them a call and see. There is nothing wrong with going to seek to college unless they tend to my home or you can not live without your mother's kitchen, then you might have problems.
