The best places in Seattle and Vancouver?

Hello! I'm visiting from Seattle and Vancouver with my sister, mom and dad. My sister and I went to high school (second year and the young.) We wonder what are the best places for a family trip. Obviously, there are bars, discos, etc. However, my mother is the first type, which means that it looks very nice view, but not expensive.
