seattle family activities
Maple Valley, Washington. Can you tell me about the place?

Is this a good place to raise a family? (Having two small children, ages 5 and 1) Good schools? Facilities for after-school activities? I heard there is a park and ride and a direct rail link to downtown Seattle. seems easy enough to travel. (?) And all I want to add would be appreciated. Thanks heaps.

My grandchildren go to Maple Valley elementary schools, which are excellent. Very family friendly. Park & Ride next to the cop shop. Many bus lines. No train of Maple Valley, however. You do not have to go to Tukwila for it. Not so far, however. I lived here 20 years and have seen and heard very little crime. I love being here. Many restaurants, shops, three grocery stores (Apple market is small, but better. Even cut his own meat.) 2 liquor stores, UPS Store, hardware store, lumberyard, at least 3 gymnasiums, 3 or 4 banks. All this and more, but I still feel like a small town. People are very friendly, I think. Good luck.
