The word is out – Bottled water sales dry up. According to the study which you speak, sales are down between 1 and nearly 10 percent worldwide in 2009, for the first time in nearly 40 years. In July 2009, the rural community of Bundanoon in Australia off the tap for bottled water ban the sale entirely. And several cities U.S. (Such as Seattle and San Francisco) will no longer buy bottled water with city funds.

This is good news for the environment because most plastics used in bottled water containers are recycled. And the costs (environmental and financial) involved in the management and distribution of plastic border in bottled water astronomical. In addition, more than 25 percent bottled water sold in the U.S. alone is not to try and purify the municipal water.

There is also a review of health and safety. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulates public water. The EPA requires several tests per day for bacteria and makes results available to the public. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulates bottled water. The FDA requires weekly testing and does not share its findings with the EPA or the public.

The cases described above are similar in other developed countries around the world.

Enter Brita pitcher and filter system with carbon-exchange resin and ion filter. Brita filter removes taste and odor of chlorine, while capturing most of mercury, lead, copper, cadmium and zinc in the water treatment system water. The filter removes small amounts of fluoride does not deny that good dental hygiene.

The Brita system works. Nine out of ten respondents to a 2005 study for Brita water filter jug of water from the tap water system.

But the real savings in your portfolio. Brita filter pitcher costs around $ 4. And each can handle about 40 gallons of water (water equivalent of 300 bottles 16.9 oz.) That means it costs less two cents to make water taste and smell better than tap water.

If one were to buy a 16.9 ounce box of bottled water from a storage facility (as Costco), the price would be twelve cents per bottle cost more commercial. This means that water filtered by Brita filters cost significantly less than bottled water.

Although there is a cost to purchase a filter water jug Nalgene water bottles and associated long-term (to take water wherever you go), this cost is quickly offset by recurring savings.

Environment pleasant taste better and all savings are reflected in a very realistic approach to hydrate. Brita, but did not stop there. The international society based on work recycling its carbon filters (for reuse and recycling of carbon in the plastic). It also creates a lot of rich content, learning materials website with an emphasis on the maintenance and / or improve health through improved water use.

Zachus J Winstone is a health enthusiast who has researched the positive impacts that water filters has on health. He suggests that water produced from a Brita pitcher system is pure and great for health and well-being. For more FREE information on his valuable findings check out his resourceful website now.
