How to dry a car seat foam?

We had a good amount of water spilled on the backseat Saturn Astra for my wife. (That carrying flowers and bucket dumping.) I have the lever of the seat, and is nearly saturated. Any suggestions on how to dry it? It's not like I can drive a seat right car in a towel and squeeze dry. Thank in advance! David in Seattle

But you're on the right track … collect as many old towels that can be and placed in the seat, bent over, one at a time. Sit on the towel, moving every five or ten seconds until the wet towel. Repeat each with a towel until the towel does not seem to be something useful or until you run out of towels. It should get the bulk of the water. Then put the dry pants.
