Where to park in downtown Seattle?
We are planning a trip to Seattle and booked a hotel near the airport. The center is like 15 minutes drive from the hotel. He also bought the City Pass. Do you want to cover the Space Needle, the Aquarium and Arg *** cruise. Where is the good and the best parking space. Would it be better to leave the car at the hotel and get public transport or downtown monorail. What is more to explore in the center well. Thanks for your help
Do not drive a car to see something in the center of the city. The car just a real and costly problem. Traffic is horrible and there are many way streets and the streets only seem to go on a map, but are really dead ends. Parking is very expensive in a lot and not always easy to find a place open on a lot close to where you want to go. For a cheaper option and the experience less stressful to get a good map of the region (likely to be available for free on your hotel or obtained at visitor centers) and public transport use. It's cheap and easy to take light rail from the airport to Westlake Center (the end of the line). All you mentioned attractions are within walking distance for good health. You can ride any bus in the free city it is easy to get on board go a few blocks and get to your destination. Seattle Center can be reached by one side to another upstairs monorail from Westlake Center to the return of $ 4 per person. The other main thing to explore is the Pike Place Market and you can walk right through it on their way to the coast. A stairway (or elevator optional) to market online lower level of expense. Save excursions car side to go on the outside of the downtown area.
