East New York or Los Angeles a better city to study Interior Design?

Hello I live in the Seattle area, WA and reached into the 09. I have many years of college, and the plan was to move to southern California and work at Disneyland while attending school for interior. (I love the Disney Company, because I interned at Walt Disney World in 2007), but was accepted to the fashion Institute of Technology in New York, which is a very prestigious and famous school for design. Also I think there will be many experiments and oppurtunities for me to grow in New York as the center of art and design in America, but Los Angeles has a little culture … I I prefer warm weather and love the sea. I do not know what to do. If my goal is to be a creator of success, New York is a place for the best for education? School in New York will begin next month! Thanks, Mike ~
