How I can get the lowest fare for a cruise in Alaska?

Hello, we want to go to more than 7 or 8 day cruise in Alaska in May or June 2010. We're both over 55 years. I found the cruise flight to date on the Costco trip so far – $ 510 for a room within Countries Low, as the speed goes over time. American Express also offers low rates. What is the best place to go The best deals for Alaska? There are so I'm confused. All travel agents must know how to get the best price? What are the best day trips to take? We love hiking, history, etc. We will travel by train to Seattle. I hope May 28-29 days of leave. Can not go last minute. Do not think inside a room. Thanks for any Help

It does not seem logical, but I found the prices to be cheaper in some places online travel booking sites on the cruise line. I would check several compare prices and prices vary. Then compare the price on the cruise just to be sure. I was lucky enough to find good prices on the cruise direct. They have a price guarantee to match any price if it is less elsewhere.
