I can drive from San Francisco to Seattle for the first time. Suggestions on where to camp or what to see?

My husband and I are driving up Coast Pacific from San Francisco to Seattle. None of us were. We both love camping and I really want to see the redwoods and the Hoh Rain Forest, Oregon. We intend eating into the hole in the wall and camping / trekking. etc. Also, the husband wants to go surfing. All any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

This is a beautiful album! Been a long time since I've done, but — do not miss the natural attractions! California, Redwood National Forest is beautiful and has a lot of camping (Keep an eye on all the big bright yellow banana slugs). Also, stop in Mendocino for a night and check out some caves. The Hoh Rainforest in Oregon is so magical. Many beaches around offers camping. Moreover, the really big Olympic National Park hot spring site. This is an overnight trip, camping …. but worthwhile!
