My twin vinyl caulking windows?
I own a new home for the first time in Seattle, WA. My heating bills this winter is a bit more and I think the culprit is one of my windows. I have double pane windows with vinyl. But my windows are still cool enough when I play "from the interior (assuming that the average winter temperature is around 40 degrees F). Is this normal? The caulking between the window frame and the wall is perfect, no leaks, because I could not feel the cold air. I could feel the cold air between the frame and glass. "I can use acrylic caulk and seal latext this small space srond glass? Will this affect and perhaps break my glass when the glass expands in the summer? Thanks for your advice (S).
