Go bar after the show at the Key Arena in Seattle – to stay in the hotel?
All right. My husband and I are attending the Dane Cook 29 November show at the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington. The show is 19 hours and that the hearing lasted approximately one hour. After the show, my husband and I thought to spend the night in Seattle and go for drinks and fun instead of driving back home one hour. Here's the thing. We do not know where to stay. If we get a hotel near Key Arena, are there bars nearby to visit after going to? Or is the area of A after Ghostown show? If we did not stay near Key Arena – Where should I stay? We preferred staying in a "security zone tourist / and not be attacked. … Basically I need to know which hotel is better to stay when you want to go bar hopping in Seattle, after a show at the Key Arena? Oh, and we pay about $ 100 or less to stay at the hotel and we are in our top-30 so no "clubs" – we are looking for good bars in the old … Irish pubs, bands, etc, etc …
There is an Irish pub on the corner of Key Arena Mercer and Queen Anne, called TS McHugh. They have good drinks, good food and friendly service. My best friend introduced me to his place a year or so ago, and I there whenever I can … and I live at the opposite end of town! You can walk around the block 3 or 4 around this side of Key Arena and find some other bars and pubs. As a hotel on this end, the best is the Ace Hotel corner of 1st and Wall in Belltown. I am sure that their rooms about $ 100 per night. This is a design hotel who has appeared in architecture and design magazines, but it is very affordable. The advantage of staying in Belltown is that there are more restaurants and bars for you to check your way back to the hotel. Here are some good places to stop on 1 and 2 … and if you do not mind going to the appropriate facility (it is really not far), you may reach the entrace Bistro Pike Place Market. They make a mean mojito there and have a great Italian cuisine. If you and your boyfriend want a romantic settlement is a good place for that. Also is the Inn at the Market, which is closer to the city … but I'm not sure there rates. The important thing to remember is that downtown Seattle is not huge. This is not like going from one extreme to another in Manhattan. And the loss of the Queen Anne or Belltown Pike Place is a taxi / bus minutes. A safety Nice drive 10-20 minutes depending on pace. Have fun with Dane Cook, was a riot!
