What is the best 4th of July fun in Seattle?
I’m new here and I was wondering what Seattle has to offer for the 4th of July activities, favorite local pastimes? It doesn’t necessarily have to be in Seattle per say, East side..Snohomish county….
Any helpful fun suggestions are greatly appreciated!
There are usually 2 large professional fireworks displays in Seattle – one over Lake Union and the other over Elliot Bay. If you go up in the Space Needle , near the top of the west side of Capital Hill (near Volunteer Park for example) you can see both at the same time!
Many of the other smaller communities have celebrations, parades and fireworks as well. Everett usually has a nice display that can be seen from the Marina or in the hillsides above. If your area has a weekly newspaper, read about the upcoming events either online or in the printed paper.
