city of seattle employment opportunities
Moving to another city without a secure job?

Therefore, I graduated last month with my MBA from a business program in Boston and I was thinking in a movement or San Jose, CA Seattle, WA and Portland, OR for employment opportunities because there are three cities I can imagine myself living in the labor market in these cities is comparable to the market in my city now, but recruiters and companies I talked to said they wanted local candidates and not a candidate state. Therefore, I think to make a travel to one of these cities, without a guaranteed job in a row. I am a CPA who is not trying to return to the accounts (research funding or the investment function), but if things go wrong, I have to do this (there are always jobs for accounting, it seems). I try to listen to people, either in a similar situation or have done anything like this before about the advantages and disadvantages and risks awards /. Too much of a leap of faith?

If you have money and friends in these cities, I recommend you do these friends for permission to use their address as your address on your resume. This will help open doors for you, as candidates do not leave the state. I used the address my friend in San Diego and has done wonders. I applied for the same job with my house and have not responded, but responded quickly when you use the address of my friend (who is not even recorded in which was the same person with the same curriculum, but the other direction!). If this is not an option for you to be able to fly on a whim for job interviews that you can get (Using the address of your friends), then you could having to travel there without employment prospects. It is disheartening to pass a new city, but if you have friends there, you can always ask if it will crash during few weeks to settle.
